Product function
The Multi-current stimulator is a precision device used for cranial electrotherapy stimulation for the treatment of anxiety and insomnia. When it is used in connection with nasal electrodes, it can be used to relieve symptoms of rhinitis and nasal congestion.
Features
• SAFE OUTPUT INTENSITY.
• THREE TYPES OF ELECTRODES.
• DUAL CHANNELS WITH FLEXIBLE CONTROL SETTINGS.
• PALM-FITTING SIZE DEVICE.
• WIDE RANGE OF TREATMENT OPTIONS.
• COMBINATION OF MICROCURRENT AND TENS.
DESCRIPTION
The stimulator is small, compact and light-weight. It was designed to be versatile. It can be used in a healthcare practitioner's office, clinic or hospital, for portable and quick response needs such as emergency medical or military applications, as well as for self-administered treatment at home on a scheduled or as-needed basis.
The stimulator has three different output modes, corresponding to two independent output channels. Channel 1 uses an ear clip electrodes to act on the earlobes, and channel 2 uses an electrode pads behind the ears, which are adhered to the mastoid process behind the ears. The current is applied by ear clip electrodes and the electrode pads behind the ears for anxiety and insomnia. Channel 2 can also be connected to a nasal electrode to stimulate the nasal side. When you use the nasal electrode, electrical stimulation will be output on the nasal side to help improve blood circulation in the nasal area and accelerate the relief of nasal symptoms. The amount of current can easily be increased to reduce treatment time or decreased when necessary to assure comfort.
How To Use
2 Connect the electrodes to the unit.
3 Placing electrodes.
For Earlobe:
• Connect the electrode wire to CH1 and then connect the two ear clip electrodes. Attach the ear clip electrodes to the two earlobes respectively. The two ear clips do not need to be distinguished.
For Mastoid process:
• Connect the electrode wire at CH 2 and then attach the electrode pads and peel off the plastic covering. Stick the electrode pad firmly behind the right ear ensuring you have removed any hair from the area. Ensure the pad is securely attached. Repeat with the left side.
Tip: Take your right index finger and middle finger and place the index finger just behind your right earlobe on the mastoid area (bony part). The placement of your middle finger is where you’ll place the pad. Repeat with left side.
For Nasal Side:
• Insert the plug of the nose electrode into the CH2 socket of the stimulator. Wear the nose electrode on your head, fix the electrode part on the side of your nose, and adjust the tightness of the headband to ensure it is secure.
4 Turn on the device.
6 Set time and Adjust the intensity.
